Compliance

HMRC Anti-Money Laundering Supervision - By having AML supervision in place, it ensures the operation of a business is conducted in compliance to the anti-money laundering rules and regulations. This also means the company has a nominated anti-money laundering officer set up to make sure no laundered money is used to purchase the goods/services sold.
The Property Redress Scheme - By being a member of a redress scheme (in this case, PRS), it ensures that there is a 3rd party in place to review complaints made against the property agent. Complaints usually need to be made to the property agent before being escalated to the chosen redress scheme.
The Information Commission's Office - Being registered with the ICO is necessary if a company is handling personal data. Rules by the ICO are then followed to ensure personal data is handled in the correct way and is in line with GDPR laws.
